What is OPUS SoundBed?
The OPUS SoundBed is a high-tech sound healing device using vibroacoustic technology to deliver a variety of low-frequency vibrations to the body while simultaneously allowing you to listen to meditations, frequencies, tones, brainwave entrainment sessions, music and nature sounds for an immersive sound healing experience. These short duration journeys quickly release you out of stress response and into a place of deep relaxation and receptivity. You can choose from sessions that provide deeper calm and relaxation, improved focus and performance, or heightened creativity and connection to purpose.
Music-based sessions are tuned to 432 Hz, in alignment with the natural harmonics of the Earth’s electromagnetic field. The bed itself primarily vibrates at deeper bass frequencies (150 Hz and below), while the full range of audible sound comes through the headphones. This interplay between hearing and feeling opens up a whole new dimension of immersive sound healing, where you are literally inside the sound waves.

Contraindications for SoundBed Use
Certain illnesses, conditions, and circumstances might require completely avoiding vibroacoustic sound therapies (VAT) such as the OPUS SoundBed. While SoundBed use is generally safe, we encourage people to exercise good judgement. We also do not permit minors under the age of 18 to use SoundBed at this time.
-
Pacemaker or implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) (because there are magnets in the Opus SoundBed transducers)
Deep brain stimulation (DBS) device, as in Parkinson’s treatment
Cardiac arrhythmias
Recent surgery or open wounds (including gastric ulcers) as VAT speeds up circulation and blood flow which aids in healing, but if there are open wounds, it may cause bleeding. Sutures must be removed and scar fully healed and closed.
Acute inflammatory conditions and fever
Extreme hypotension (low blood pressure) as VAT tends to reduce heart rate
Extreme hypertension (high blood pressure) - uncontrolled
Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) or risk of thrombosis
Epilepsy/seizure disorders
Kidney, bladder or gallstones
Pregnancy
Severe depression or anxiety for which you are being medicated
Polyneuropathy

Coronary stent, cardiac shunt, artificial heart valves -
An inflammatory skin disorder, such as hives, psoriasis, eczema or its variant weeping eczema.
Have a heavily scarred area
Carotid atherosclerosis: turn the head vibration on table completely down.
Acute inflammations
Tumors
Metal inserts, implants, screws, or staples: certain vibrations may feel uncomfortable or painful for some people.
Artificial joints and inflamed joints
